Last day of a five day vacation and haven't done half of the plans.. but hey isn't that what vacation is about.

At least I got around upgrading the Heartbeat running my small High-Availability cluster. The older version crashed and flooded the small machines with messages and the shared IP was running on multiple boxes. The new version seems to be running ok.

Also started on the recovery of my broken RAIDs. It seem that the HPT374 wasn't working well with the newer Linux kernels, 2.6.26+. It has been working for years with the older drivers. So they have been silently corrupting, (well, not totally quiet, md driver was trying to fetch blocks way above the maximum limit).
